The release of Android 12 seems to be getting closer as Google enters the final stages of launching this new version of Android.
At this point, the operating system is basically ready to be marketed to the public. However, there are some adjustments that still need to be made.
Google has previously launched the fifth beta for Android 12. In addition, there are three developer previews (with two minor updates) and four beta updates.
Google mentions the fifth Android 12 beta as a candidate for Android 12 to be released. This means that this version is the last beta. Furthermore, there is a possibility that Google will release a stable version of Android 12.
Quoting Android Authority, Friday (10/9/2021), Google said the launch of Android 12 will be released in the next few weeks.
For information, last year the first beta of Android 11 was in June and the last release of the Android 11 stable version was early September. Therefore, it is very likely that this year Google will release Android 12 with a schedule like last year.
Since the fifth Android 12 beta has already been released on September 8, maybe Android 12 will be released in mid or late September 2021. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the schedule could be pushed back.
Previously, Google said it was planning to roll out a monthly update for Android 12.
New Features in Android 12
Google announced a new feature for the Android OS 12. The new feature in question is that users can play games that are being downloaded, even though the download process has not been completed.
For game applications with large files, of course this will be very useful. The reason is that users do not have to wait until the download is complete to be able to play the game.
Google also shared an overview of how fast users can open the game, via a GIF. So far, the feature is known as "play as you download".
Google promises users can immediately open the games they download in no time, especially games that are 400MB or larger.
"Users can open games at least twice as fast (than usual when the application must be downloaded completely)," said Google, as quoted from The Verge, Tuesday (13/7/2021).
For your information, permainan togel online terpercaya this feature is somewhat similar to what Sony has in games on the PlayStation console. The plan is that this new feature will work on games that use the Play Asset Delivery system.
According to Google, if a game uses this system, game developers don't have to do anything to enable the feature.
