Info

The first day of my new school, the weather was so cold and air so misty. A man so lean and with dyed hair showed me my classroom and I found myself a seat, not too back nor too front, an ambient space where I would not easily be “sketched”. From my place I could see students filling in the other division. Kids came in and found their comfy spaces and occupied those. Having not much to do being very ‘social’ guy, I sat rather watching the students as they went into the other classroom. I could see studious kids searching and finding seats in the front row and the back benchers finding their realm. Amidst all that chaos was that I saw a lean long figure. I saw a pair of gleaming eyes. Those eyes were so wide and they hid some magic in them that drew me to them as if I were a feather. I was basically a non-believer of the concept of falling neck deep in love at first sight. So the egoistic me didn’t want to agree I fell for those eyes. Nevertheless I just couldn’t take my eyes off her. As naughty as me, my eyes followed the eyes despite whatever I tried to say. I prayed, ‘God! Please help me!’.

...............

So Ann was coming back from home after the vacations. I was waiting for her at the bus station. I waited for like some time for the bus. I was kind of tired already. After sometime anyway the bus came and so did she. ‘Thank god’… Wait….She just told me we have to wait more. Her roommate was on way and we would have to wait for her too. That just went worse! We talked about vacation, school, had snacks from the street vendor and stood there for like twenty minutes and there came the roommate’s bus. Whops! I did not introduce Ann! She is my classmate, friend, and we hail from the same town. I saw a lean long figure come out of the bus. My eyes accidently locked on to something. It was a pair of gleaming, wide, beautiful eyes that seemed to have some sort of magic in them that pulled me towards them as if I was lighter than a feather. The eyes waved Ann a ‘Hi’. I whispered to Ann, ‘Ann, Who is she? Some friend of yours?’. ‘Hey genius we were waiting for her. She is my roommate. She’s in our batch at school, other division’. ’God, please…!’.

...................

Peeking aside during a lecture (It was boring) at church, I just caught a glimpse of a pair of eyes, they were wide and they were gleaming (church got interesting right away and how I wished it went on for ever!). We walked out of the church and the eyes walked along, not uttering a word. The eyes kept looking down all the way while I was longing for a glance from those. We were now waiting for just like a couple of minutes for the others but the couple of minutes looked like a long story for me. She walked up to me and said hi and I replied and she said me that we have met before (as stunned I was!). She talked in the most delicate and sweet voice I’ve ever heard. “God…..!!”
