Tears Don’t Count

When you scream that I am rude

When you are not in a good mood,

When your words just break my heart

When your looks tear me apart,

When I always lose what I had just found

I know, these tears don’t count.

When I run and shut the door

When I hide my face no more,

When I walk out in the rain

Thinking what possibly had gone wrong again,

When my crimes bark like a hound!

I know, these tears don’t count.

When the sunlight burns my eye,

When my lips turn into a mild lie,

When your shadow breaks my trance

Making me feel like a sheer nuisance-

When I look down and see the moist ground

I know, these tears don’t count.

When my heart whispers about you in the ear

Saying the things I never want to hear,

When I accuse it for being so rude

It says,”I am just made of wood”

When I see you cry, I drink my tears and look around

Because I know, these tears don’t count
