I looked into his eyes
He looked into mine
He asked champagne or soda lime
But my heart and mind were not in the same line
So I said I am running out of time
His calm lips were singing the song of a wind chime
And those scribbled letters of mine got trapped in his rhymes
The spaces and pauses in my feelings and emotions
Got filled with his ecstatic notions
My universe sunk in his eyes
Which defeated even the best of the wines
My anxiety and euphoria reached to cloud nine
We travelled to another worlds
Which were known and yet clandestine
We were in the heavenly hell of space
Bounded by time's suitcase
I bent down on knees amidst the belt of asteroids
And all that existed got seized
The restless particles were in mode of salvation
As we gazed the beloved moon
Our fingers intertwined and hearts locked up
Strangely and suddenly
In this modern era of pubs and bars
Of clubs and cars
I lived a life in the arms of deadly love
A "meera" was born with the gaze of her "Krishna".
At times the ink stains on our hands recite more than those on the pages.
