The world doesn't have to care about me

I can just stay here
In my own quiet place

But they won't let me be
They just can't seem to ignore me
They choose to mind me
As if I'm something they can't get away from
Like a nuisance that didn't choose to be there
But still ended up in that place anyway.
"Why am I here?" I ask the waves, the wind, the God above me
"I put you there to break you and build you for My purpose and My glory alone" says He who created me
I closed my eyes and smiled to the sky knowing that I was going to be ok.
