Teenage might be the hardest years of life..the struggle with your body, the overwhelming mood swings, the troubled image issues..all are present at the same time..but adulthood is also not easy. You can hang out with friends whenever and wherever you want without getting worried about an identity card or any proof of age. You can enjoy yourself and nobody would question your or your family's integrity.
(2) Earning: Adulthood means now you have to earn money. Although you have to earn really very hard, still the perks are worth the efforts. You get the money you want and you get the chance to spend as you want. You can also invest this money in things you like..or multiply in ways that are safe yet risky. Earning obviously means that you don't have to ask for money from anyone or you don’t have to answer about its whereabouts.
(3) Casting votes: As you turn an adult you get the supreme right to vote. This means that the government considers you mature enough to select the candidate that is fit to govern your nation. The right to vote is cool because it gives us the feeling of responsibility and the feeling of accountability for our actions.
(4) Paying taxes: When we earn regularly, we are bound to pay taxes too..which means that we get to be part of the process of development of our country. (5) Driving a car: When we enter adulthood, we are officially considered mature enough to drive a vehicle of our choice, be it a scooter or a car or a truck. (6) Wake up till late: Although it is unhealthy, waking up till late is fun..when you became an adult, you don't need to go to school the next day..so, you can wake up and sleep on your own sweet time.
(7) Have a house: Although you might love your parents, moving out of their house and living an independent life is very important to learn how to be independent in life. It is cool to have a house to ourselves as it makes us mature and understand the responsibilities we have to take over in the future and it also makes us understand the responsibilities our parents took when they had us!
