It's easy to hate and throw bitterness
To someone, you don’t like.
And it's common to say cruel words
In this troubled world of strife.
But what is the greatest commandment given
That we should remember somehow?
“Love your neighbor as yourself,
But first, love God now.”
Let’s love one another
And care for each other,
Show a little kindness to the undeserved.
Be kind to one another
And respect each other.
For the greatest love hath given is to love one another.
It doesn’t cost a penny to make a difference
To someone, you don’t know.
And it's better to say encouraging words
To build a world of peace.
For what is the greatest commandment given
That we should remember somehow?
“Love your neighbor as yourself,
But first, love God now.”
Mom, I know it’s hard for you to let go of me.] But you calmly said, “Now write your own story.”
