Years have gone by,
Memories have passed and some grew back.
Images remained deep within,
Been trying to keep them locked in.
Where everything went?
Is still something to ponder.
Thought of just ignoring the past,
Moving on and forgetting how it ended.
The picture of us together,
What could have been if you stayed?
A new year has begun,
