IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT AIR-COOLED CHILLERS FOR INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

Air-cooled chillers are widely used, particularly in small to medium-sized commercial and industrial buildings. They are typically found outside, either on the rooftop or at floor level. The Air-Cooled Chillers do not require cooling towers and instead release their waste into the surrounding atmosphere, requiring a large airflow to expel the unnecessary warm air.

An industrial air-cooled chiller is a cooling system that works in conjunction with a facility's air handler system. A chiller is made up of four major components: an evaporator, a compressor, a condenser, and an expansion valve.

Air Cooled Chiller is an air cooler works in combination with an air handling unit. The air-cooling chiller consists of four major components, an evaporator, compressor, condenser, and expansion valve.

The heat from the water supply is absorbed by an air-cooled chiller. When the water in the air handler unit is utilized, it warms up and is returned to the chiller. The evaporator of the chiller transfers heats away from the water. As the liquid refrigerant passes along the evaporator tube, it evaporates, forming a low-pressure gas. The evaporated refrigerant then flows to the compressor, then it is transmitted from a low-pressure gas to a high-pressure gas.

The gas then exits and is directed to the air-cooled condensers. Heat is evacuated from the chiller while in the condenser by being blasted outside by fans on the condenser's side. Because the heat is blasted outside of the chiller, it is best to install it outside or in a big inside space that will not be harmed by the surplus heat. The refrigerant transforms into a high-pressure liquid once the gas exits the condenser. The expansion valve directs the high-pressure liquid to the evaporator.

The refrigerant transitions from a high-pressure liquid to a low-pressure liquid during this procedure. The industrial air-cooled chiller operates on a perpetual loop, this low-pressure fluid is then returned to the evaporator, in which the cycle is repeated.

Industrial chillers are frequently used in big structures such as restaurants, malls, healthcare centers, and huge industrial complexes. It is used in several structures that require chilling, such as huge shopping malls, industrial basements, huge warehouses, and large amusement parks. Compact air-cooled chillers can also be utilized for significant events or in emergencies.

Air-cooled chillers ranging in size maximum of 500 tones. Portable Air's chiller allows for rapid and efficient delivery and easy installation.

AIR-COOLED CHILLER’S MAJOR PARTS:

The compressor

The condenser

Condenser fans

Expansion Valve

The chilled water is created in the evaporator, and the heat from the warm return "chilled water" is collected and transported to the condenser.

ADVANTAGES OF INSTALLING AIR-COOLED CHILLERS:

There are no cooling towers.

Improved environmental consistency no water waste.

Low operating expenses.

Prevent control-tower freezing.

Chemical expenditures are eliminated.

Water expenses are reduced, in major cities.

There are no water issues to cope with the event of a calamity.

CONCLUSION:

Air Cooled chillers are the best option for small-scale commercial and industrial premises cooling systems on a low budget and are easy to set up.
