Are you ok?

When was the last time you asked these questions to yourself, huh?
Was that last summer day when sun was shadowy
Or was it that night when moon was so glossy
You are just drifting away from yourself finding bliss in others
Did you realize that you are not being yourself anymore
Every day you are just pretending to be someone you idealize
Imitating to be carefree and satisfied
Having a smiley face , bearing concealed mental and heart aches
But you are ok with all these , right?
Coz you never even thought ,  that these things can abstract you away from yourself

You are just clueless
Executing whatever you are told to do so
Dreaming of someone else's dream
Finding someone who can be your forever
Having child's heart but fake it to be mature
But again , you are ok with all these right?
Coz you assume , every person is enduring all this so you also need to sustain

But have you ever thought 'Why?'

Why all these things are occurring to you
Why do you feel isolated even if you have your family
Why always do you feel to flee and be distant

Perhaps coz you are trying to be flawless in other's eyes
Trying to someone so that everyone likes you
But not realizing that it's you
It's about you and for you
You are the one who is responsible for your contentment and grief
Others can just provide you with temporary happiness

Reflect on your worth
Be your own beautiful unique self
Talk to yourself like someone you love
You have yourself and yourself is always enough
Little by little , you'll become the happiest version of yourself.

If it makes you happy, it doesn't have to make sense to others.
