Chapter 1

After long hours of silence, the stranger who sat next to me in the bus, looked deep into my eyes & tried to build up his sentence. “Why are you having this journey?”. I looked at him pretty weird. A total stranger doesn’t owe an answer from me. He could infer from my expression that i was not going to give him an answer. To cut out the silence he tried another one. “Usually North Indians opt more for these journeys. Sadhus, priests to pay off their sins. Isolation gives them an answer. Tourists are also common. By the way I’m Raghav. And of course I’m not a sadhu!!” and he laughed. His eyes had those victorious stars for starting a conversation with an enchanting lady. But still i didn’t join his laugh and remained flat at face. Of course from my appearance everyone could expect a complicated philosopher with a red n black specs, curly hair tied up round. It haunted me in my school days too that classmates inferring me as a bookworm but truth which is a total contradictory. Appearance always matters!!! Raghav was feeling fully defeated for not being able to start up a conversation with me. May be he’ll be looking for a passing relationship with a girl for his journey and contradictory to the scene i was not into it. But his disappointment attracted me and thought of telling him my name if he asks. Next very moment with hope he asked, “i believe at least I can know your name. You can share that that  basic information with a stranger!” I said looking at his face & back bag... “Hi I’m Ezhil” ...
