We were under the stars,
laying down beside each other.
Fingers intertwined while we watch
them together.
Full smile on each others lips,
our eyes smiling and glowing.
It felt like we were on our own little world,
just you and I.
I turned to my side to look at
your lovely face.
Without knowing there was a smile
across my face.
How could I be so lucky to be with such
a sweet angel.

It wasn't long till you turned to your
side to look at me.
You reached up to caress my cheek,
tears forming in your eyes while
you smiled.
You leaned forward to give me a lingering
kiss.
When you pulled back, I saw your tear stricken
face.
I asked why but all I heard was your sniffling.
I asked you again but all you ever said was,
"Goodbye, Love."
I sat up on my bed, then a tear escaped from
my eye.
I looked at the time then I let out a sigh.
I laid back down and started to cry,
it was 9 A.M.
