I incessantly gawk at the ceiling,
Every morning after I open my eyes,
Contemplating about that why doesn’t,
This ceiling magically turn into Sky?
Then lazily I get up,
And stand up on my feet,
Thinking why this ground beneath,
Doesn’t turn into sand of beach?
I sing in the shower,
The songs of distress,
I want only waterfalls to wet me,
And take away my stress.
I look out of my window,
The buildings around make me sad,
I want to spectator some view,
Where the horizon seems to have no end.
But what keeps me alive is,
All these dreams yet to follow,
As I sleep every night with a promise to myself,
That one day I’ll definitely travel solo.
After love, one sided love is the most amazing thing that can happen to anyone.
