A great service for marriage proposals

We here at My Wedding Workbook work really hard to write blogs that keep you up to date with all of the wedding trends and wedding software offerings on our site. 

But what about proposals? We recently stumbled upon The Heart Bandits, a Marriage Proposal and Romantic Event Planning Company and got a chance to interview co-founder Michele Williamson.

Q. So what exactly does The Heart Bandits do? A. We help men all over the world plan unique, customized marriage proposals.

Instead of turning to the scary Internet to help plan their marriage proposals, they can now come to experts to plan every detail of the day she has been dreaming of her whole life! 

We don't suggest corny things such as bringing a ring out in a champagne glass. We interview the man and find out details about the couple's story and with that we create an amazing proposal concept.

Q. What are some examples of proposals you have come up with? A. We recreated the Ellen Degeneres show for a man who really wanted to propose on the show. 

His girlfriend was a huge fan so we hired actors and made a fake talk show where the boyfriend was the guest. He proposed on "set". For a woman infatuated with the show Glee, we created a Glee style proposal complete with choreographed singing and dancing.

Q. What was your favorite proposal? A. My favorite proposal was for a soldier in Afghanistan. I am a former vet myself so I have a soft spot for all military personnel. 

He wanted to propose to his girlfriend in Houston, TX but since he was in Afghanistan he had no clue how he would do this. We coordinated with the girlfriends family and she thought that she was going shopping but ended up at this chic hotel where she was greeted by the Manager. 

He asked if she was Cindy and when she said yes a violinist started serenading her. She was led into a room that was lit with candles and decorated with roses. Displayed on the screen were her boyfriend's words and his proposal including a picture of him in uniform on bended knee. It was so romantic!

Q. Do you plan marriage proposals for women who want to propose? A. Absolutely! We love planning proposals for the ladies as well. We also help women figure out how men like to experience romance. Men aren't as into the scrapbooks and framed pictures as we are!

Q. You also provide Romantic Event Planning. What is that? A. We plan romantic events such as Valentine's Day dates, anniversaries, and any other romantic dates. 

We also offer a Romance Concierge Service for men that want to be romantic but are out of town a lot. We can send romantic gifts for them all year, plan their romantic dates, and make sure they don't forget any of those dates.
