And just when I thought I could never feel again
Suddenly, the emotions came bursting, flowing like lava
Ruining everything it set its mind into
As if it has all the right to destroy all the things that I've built for so long
Self-worth
Self-respect
Self-love
The pain, the sadness and tears
I embraced them like homecoming
Like I missed it so much and was dying to meet them again
Welcome home, my old friends where have you been hiding all this time?
And as the hot liquid kept rolling down my cheeks
I felt the warmth and savour it
Tasting the salty tears
As I fear it may never come again
I never know I could be addicted to this
But then I guess it's better than
Feeling nothing at all
