A love letter not sent, yet received

Dear Self,

It's been a long time without you.

How I miss your eyes when smiling.

Ever seeing yourself as wonderful?

I thought that you won't realize that you are so much more than what others see.

Yes, it took time before you see your worth.

But now you're back. And became even an idependent stronger woman.

You are amazing, you dont have to compete with other women and prove your worth to anyone. You are lovely, you dont have to try so hard putting on make up just to feel beautiful. You are smart too, you don't chase people who doesn't want to be part of your life anymore. You don't want to be left behind and cry for the same reason. You don't fight for someone who already gave up on you.

So you made the right decision, you step out from the dark and see light again.

You know you should have done that earlier, but you don't want to rush things. You believe that everything happens for a reason. Somehow you feel that the tighter you embrace your past, the stronger you become. You got better in each day you feel being neglected. You gained bruises and scars in your heart, but no grudges at all. You survived from all the pain you've been through and that's what makes me so proud of you.

Darling, you've come so far. And I thank you for being so brave enough to let go of what's hurting you. Even though how much you love to keep it going, you still chose to move on. Thank you for spending more time with your family, relatives and friends. Thank you for trying new things to enjoy. Thank you for meeting new people. Thank you for setting yourself free. Thank you for giving a chance to love YOU again.

Please promise me one thing, always make yourself happy. You deserve it.
