Description of the ceremony "Medieval wedding at the Old Castle of Celje"

Reception of wedding guests and newlyweds in front of the castle gates. The ensign with the banner stands in front of the castle gates until the arrival of the castle lady (fanfare). 

The ensign and the castle lady take the newlyweds with the bride and groom to the scene, where they are met by the registrar. They are accompanied by a wedding march (medieval music). The newlyweds and witnesses are dressed in medieval clothes.

The ceremony is preceded by an address by the castle messenger, followed by two dance points (presentation dance of the bride, cupid's dance - dance of love and happiness).

The wedding ceremony is a classic. At the signing of the newlyweds and witnesses in the wedding book and a toast with sparkling wine from special crystal glasses, which the newlyweds receive as a gift, is accompanied by medieval music. 

After the fanfare ceremony, the arrival of the count's couple (Herman II and Barbara of Celje) is announced. They give them a gift specially made for this purpose.

The medieval wedding ends with a group dance of all the bride and groom. After the ceremony, there is a small reception for the wedding party in the form determined by the newlyweds (sparkling wine, wine, juice, water, fruit, canapés ...), photography in the castle ambience.

The wedding happens anywhere in the Old Castle. A red carpet is laid at the entrance to the castle. Musical accompaniment can be heard throughout the castle.

The layout of the chairs and the number are adjusted to the wishes of the newlyweds (red cushions on the chairs). There are flower arrangements on the site, standing and table.
