A Night of Remembrance

A night when rains, falling endlessly into the open fields I watched over while sitting on a rocking chair under a wooden roof that was covered with wild flower leaves, kind of a mangrove specie, to stop the water from leaking through it. I had lit a spliff while gazing through the dark night into the pitch black nothingness spread in front of me. While absorbing the moisture of air which the breezy wind brought along with it, I kept puffing on the burning green grass... The darkness was subdued only a little by a small zero watt bulb placed right behind my chair and apart from the sound of the falling waters, nothing else was audible.

The night reminded me of tunes I had heard once upon a time which soothed my soul.

You remind me of that night...
