A Start From An Ending

In an old apartment,
I hear a soft voice muttering,

" The shadows i can see.

Their backs turned at me.

Footsteps getting quiet.

Now I'm all alone with just a blanket."

There's a boy, one day, at a bus stop.

On his right hand, he held an empty lunch box.

His eyes are wet,

with tears running on his face.

All of those. I can see it.

Walking on a quiet road,

No noise can be heard.

Looking at the empty houses,

Lay those stories, never once opened.

Reaching a dead end.

I thought my walk would also end.

But there's more to see,

There's another part I want to open.

It's not the end.

It's just a new beginning.

A new chapter's being written.

As I was sitting in an old stadium, 

I saw a young man

with a diploma on his hand.

Tears on his face,

he bowed with a smile.

All of those he achieved

while he's alone.

Tears aren't always a sign of sorrow,

It can also be a way to express joy.

A page was turned again.

There's a loud cry that I've heard...

"There's fire! There's chaos... everywhere!

There's blood... I can see it.

It's all over the place..."

A group of soldiers marching...

There are planes and tanks 

Criss-crossing the doomed terrain.

A few hours later...

There was no sound heard...

Except for the cries of people mourning.

A soldier saw what happened.

It was another nightmare for him.

But...

'At last! It has already ended.'

In a classroom

There stood a girl in front of the class.

On the blackboard I saw

A picture of a man wearing a camouflaged uniform 

with badges that shine in the light.

She was telling the story of her old man... 

She was doing that using her hands...

Excitement was plastered on her face

She's proud of that man.

No voice was heard,

But they still understood,

The story she was telling,

With those thoughts they could imagine...

A start from an ending.
