A strange humour called life

Dear life, the bond I share with you is stranger than fiction one moment and simpler than reality the very next moment. I hate you but I love you and then I hate you again but I start loving you with stronger emotions. You scare me like the algebra of maths and soothe me like the symphony of music all at the same time. I love to hate your unpredictability, yet I fall in love with the very idea of stepping into each and every mysterious tomorrow you offer. You teach me love by holding me like a mother and teach me hate by throwing me off the cliff like a monster all with the same force. Your sarcasm kicks my ass and I start loving you more for showing me weirdness. Your sense of humour tickles my bone but then I start hating you so much more for your brashness. The world calls lust a sin, but you term it as passion and make it sacred. The world celebrates love as sacred but you term it as a weakness and make it a sin. Your strangeness scares my soul and gives me a high, your reality hits me hard but gives me strength and gives me courage.

Dearest life, you push me down and I learn to stand up taller, you knock me down and make me stronger. You teach me discipline and then induce all random emotions. You make me fear darkness and then throw me in the blazing sun and I start valuing the serenity of the darkness. You make me love the rain and leave me stuck alone in a rainy night and I start loving the sunshine more than ever. You give me pain and I start loving the bitterness of medicines. You disgrace loneliness and then bring in fake people and make me value the calmness in being alone, but once I try to find happiness in being alone, you bring along friends and family and you teach me how to trust and you teach me how to love. You are stranger than the strangest, weirder than the weirdest as you show me fear, you show me anger and you show me everything that’s dark and dirty and when I lose all hope, you show me god, you make me believe and show me everything that has colours and rainbows.
