A Thing About Kindness
By Divyanshi Gupta1 min read445 launches - Kindness knows love better than anyone and everyone
- Its the colour of red; both love and danger.
- It will be the doormat to your shenanigans,
- But a vessel to things much stranger.
- Kindness accommodates but can also relinquish.
- It loves like water; tastes alike to benevolence and crime,
- But it can hate like fire; consumes everything with no axe to grind,
- And both its forms are equally sublime.
- Kindness is the vast shelter of humanity,
- It sees hope, love, and beauty in all.
- With the limits of a saint, and heart of the nature, it persists,
- But once exhausted, behold the appall.
- Kind can forgive and forgive; an ocean of empathy.
- Kindness bleeds as you take the first step towards warpath.
- For it takes courage to be kind,
- But a greater one to face the wrath.
- It doesn't harm you, or cause any hurt,
- Its kindness after all; powerful than any other emotion.
- But the universe, it gets enraged out of agony,
- For you just destroyed something already so scarce in creation.
