The call went on as Shreya was constantly disconnecting it. Of course on a lazy wintry morning who would like to get out of the warmth of the quilt and sit freezing to like death. Shreya did the same thing. She pulled the blanket over her head and tried not to pay attention to the call. However, it wasn't long enough that the person on call actually came up to her doorstep and started ringing the doorbell this time. An annoyed Shreya sat up ruffling through her messy curls as she pulled out her warm pullover and moved towards the door. Abhinay Rathore was standing right there with his cute grin which could make any girl drool over him.
"What makes you destroy my sleep and smile that cutely?" she asked lazily as he went inside the two-room flat and directly landed over her couch.
"Well, that's something the constitution of your home handed me. She gave me the right to wake you up early because you waste a lot of time in sleeping" he smiled.
"Abhinay it's just 6:30 am of a December morning dude what is wrong with you?"
He went a bit closer. Leaned forward and looked deep into those hazel shade eyes as he said, barely a whisper which still had the potential to make her heart tremble,
"Actually everything is wrong with me since the day I met these eyes. They tend to follow me everywhere, be it social media or in reality just like you are right now in front of me with that smile on your face. I just don't understand myself why everything is wrong with me despite the fact that everything is right"
She smiled looking away as she walked over to the kitchen and prepared two cups of coffee. Just the way they liked. Little sugar, warm with lots of cream. It was Abhinay because of whom she started falling for his tastes once she landed in Delhi one year ago. A girl who had no direction but with his hand in hers she was now in a reputed position as a school teacher.
"Here your coffee" she handed him his cup as they sat over by the balcony over those bean bags. Her little garden filled with flower pots adored this little space of her abode and the favourite place where Abhinay proposed to her seven months ago, while it feels like it's ages she had known a person like him.
"I am thinking about something," he said as she looked up at him, lifting her head from his shoulder she raised her eyebrows inquiring about the matter.
"I was planning to change my relationship status"
She stood up this time. Looking astounded at him she waited for him to answer her qualms.
"Relax, nothing to freak out. I was just thinking to plan a warm beginning for us. A beginning where no longer do I need to make myself understand that its okay we will meet tomorrow for now let's go home. Where every morning won't start at your door but next to you while I will be the warm embrace where you tend to hide. A beginning where these coffee cups will make a little sound because anyways they will be together. A beginning of us, warm, filled with those flavours of love just like this warm coffee where our sweet souvenirs will be tales we speak of while dozing around each night. Where we tend to grow in love."
Shreya smiled as he simply went down on his knees once again. Holding her hand in his Abhinay looked up into those deep eyes, drowning there he swam upwards in that ocean of love as her eyes blinked while he said.
"Will you like to make such a warm beginning with me Shreya?"
This time there was no thinking for a moment like she did to accept his proposal 7 months ago. A tear with a nod followed by a smile and she was his like for the sempiternal time.
