There was a debacle inside me
A tag I had to pick and move on
There was silence and pain,
Unlikely to be addressed any day
I gather enough to go on
No time to let eyes moisten,
For the dreams that died inside.
Disregarded...disapproved.
All the rules I had to abide,
Stood higher than my cause.
Bigger than my smile were,
A hundred expectations.
Larger than my life,
Was a prescribed list of all tasks.
If I failed with an inch
I was made to feel guilty
Unless and until I could undo,
A lot that was cursed;
And how times have been.
In two twinkling eyes
Was hope butchered
It was just work that they could see…
I did not expect in return
I just went on
The greatest mistake I had made
Was I chose to move on.
How I wish I'd held on!
For all compromises I made.
An aching soul is what I get.
The story of losses and profits of life. The story of a rebel. Sorry Society I Have A Place of Mine!
