The semicolon,
Used when a writer could have ended a sentence;
But chose not to.
The sentence could have been a melancholy one.
He still didn't end it.
It could have had words difficult to understand.
Or even meaningless sentences.
Phrases with absolutely no context.
But he still didn't use the "full stop".
It could have been absolutely deprived of words of love.
Joy and happiness of any kind.
But he still waited to add something on.
In hope that maybe the sentence will turn out to be better.
The sentence could be hard to frame, really really hard.
But instead of erasing it. He chooses the semicolon.
It could be a sentence supported by nothing.
But ending it, still doesn't seem worth it.
The sentence could be about the winters or the summers.
But the writer awaits to see the beauty in both.
Thus, he chooses the semicolon.
It could be the ugliest sentence ever. But he still doesn't hide it.
For he knows, very truly so,
To an illiterate, even a meaningless sentence looks beautiful.
Our lives are our words, our art.
They can be of a billion different types.
But no piece of art is useless.
If you just wait like the writer, for something better to come by.
Maybe if you could just use the semicolon instead of a fullstop.
Your sentence would be much more beautiful than you can imagine.
And maybe, so could your life.
