A father teaches his daughter too many lessons about what it means to truly love and experience the beauty of life but you were my first heartbreak and I used to hate you for that. Slowly as I get older, the hate turned to sadness.
You left before I can remember.
You never deserved that title "Father" cause you never really was.
You don't know who my friends are, you don't know what my favorites are. You weren't there on my first dance, you weren't there on my heart aches. You weren't there on my achievements and you weren't there all through out.
You should have taught me which men whom I will trust but thanks anyway i learned it on my own.
I learned to accept that you will never be my knight in shining armor which most little girls get to look up to.
There was too much space between your world and mine and you forgot how much I needed you. Because of that, I see how special I am even without you.
I won't blame you for leaving, instead I am much thankful. Thank you for being not so good and I see the best in me.
