What’s pain?
Ask the flowers
When you pluck them
For your own decors

What’s home?
Ask those people
Who return to a cemented square
With no one to welcome them
Do you want to know
What’s love?
Ask those kids
Who spent an era
Watching you smile with your parents
Do you want to know
What’s tears?
Ask those parents
Who just came back
After bidding a final adieu to their daughter
Do you want to know
What’s yearning?
Ask those old wrinkles
Who seem to wait
For just a call from their child staying far
Do you want to know
What’s poetry?
Ask a broken heart
Who scribbles randomly
Yet those words scream about the trauma
Do you want to know
What’s smile?
Ask a failure
Who just saw the rainbow
That illuminated his life
Do you want to know
Why I scribbled so far?
It’s because I want to show you
How emotions are so simple
Yet people find it confusing...
