Beautiful Us

Some of u may find me pretty or even beautiful. But let me start off this speech saying I dont find myself pretty. My nose is too big, Im dark!, the boobs I got? Tiny.Flat. And, my crush is not interested in me. But thats not the point!
Now, I dont care who you are or where you came from. I dont care about your status in life, the followers u got on twitter, the photos you have uploaded on instagram and the tons of likes you get on facebook. I dont care how many tests you've failed, the friends you got or even the extra bit of fat you've been concealing under your trousers. I dont care whether you have a face full of make up or just being your natural self,those pimples that keeps getting plenty. I dont care about your flaws, your imperfections that makes you feel less beautiful becoz WE ARE ALL WORTHY AND WE ARE THE OPPOSITE OF UGLY. No matter how mentally scarred you are or how emotionally unstable you are. You are beautiful! Everyone is beautiful for what she is and everyone should feel that within herself.
Why do u need to love yourself? Why out of all the people in the world should u fall in love with who u are first?
You know, Ive never liked myself since then. I think Ive always been sooo insecure about the way I look. Its so hard for me to term myself beautiful, I grew up hating my nose and my skin. Ive always been so worried to the words that will come out to everybodys mouth.
But upon making this speech, it really changed the way I looked at myself. That is why I ve choosen to encourage and enlighten every ladies in this gymnasium? a little bit confident than before.
To the girl who always feel inadequate and imperfect Love urself not only becoz u are worthy of it but becoz in doing that , u will also learn to love others better. Loving ur own flaws scars and imperfections leads u to accept others in the same way and eventually love them for who they are.To not love urself and wish to be someone else instead is a trap. Its only going to disappoint u becoz u cant be anyone else but u. Shake off those insecurities , ure amazing. U dont have to wish to be someone else just to be beautiful. No matter how clichè this sounds, just be urself. And Everytime! u want to see someone beautiful just go and stand in front of a mirror with lots of confidence, the beauty resides there.
What u see in the mirror, what u see in the reflection Is non other than yourself. It is you and what u see is the truth. But if u would only change ur mindset , if u would only reverse ur thought. Then u might be able to see the new truth.So I challenge each of u , when u finally reached ur home, kindly look at urself in the mirror. See all of u. Look at all ur greatness that u embody, accept it and love it. And see to it that when u leave ur house tomorrow, try to extend that same love and acceptance to someone who doesnt look like u.
