Bentley Flying Spur launched V8

Like the equivalent power version of the Continental GT, the speeding V8 has a twin-turbocharged engine with a power of 541bhp and a torque of 786 Nm. It is said that it is 100 kg lighter than the V12, so the driving experience is more agile and responsive. V8 models retain dynamic enhancement systems, such as adaptive air suspension and torque vectoring, and optional electric anti-roll technology and four-wheel steering.

Compared with the W12 version, the V8 version has reduced CO2 emissions by 17%. Bentley has not confirmed official data, but we can expect emissions from the Flying Spur V8 version to be about 280g/km. In the WLTP test, V8 gives a fuel consumption index of 10 oils per hundred kilometers, and its thermal efficiency is 16% higher than that of W12.

When cruising at speeds below 3000 rpm, four cylinders can be deactivated to reduce fuel consumption. Bentley claims that the deactivation process takes about 20 milliseconds, so the driver and passengers will not feel it.

The interior is still familiar with the design style of Bentley cars, and four or five-seater models can be ordered. It comes in seven colors as standard, and you can also choose the "Blackline" decoration kit, which replaces the chrome exterior trim with darker items. The Flying Spur V8 can be ordered now, and the first customer deliveries are scheduled for before 2021, but the price has not yet been determined.
