Why you need to learn jQuery?
Some may ask — In this era of Angular, Vue and React why it is important to know jQuery? The answer is:
1. jQuery integrates easily with web technologies like ASP.NET, PHP, Python, etc. When developers are working on these technologies they need client side features, for this they choose jQuery along with JavaScript.
2. Angular, React & Vue are complete frameworks/libraries where you can make complete web project. You even don’t need server side technologies like ASP.NET, Python, PHP, etc when you use these in your project.
3. Learning Angular, React & Vue takes time, 2–6 month easily. Developers don’t have that much amount of time to learn them. The jQuery is very small and you can quickly learn it within hours.
4. If you know JavaScript then you can easily learn jQuery. This is not so with Angular, React & Vue since they have their own features and function to do different tasks.
