Recently, MRS. HINCH revealed that by 'lighting her wax melts, putting on fleecy pjs & getting cosy with her boys on the sofa,' she likes to relax in her lounge.
Her favourite wax melt company, Ava May Aromas, also produces wax melts scented like the favourite cleaning items of the beloved Instagram personality: Minkeh, Pinkeh and Buddy (unfortunately, all of them are currently sold out).
Wax melts are affordable, long-lasting ways to perfume the house.
While wax melts are comparable to scented candles, they have some additional benefits.
Wick-free melts appear to be cheaper, generally last longer and are chemical-free, so they fit well in a home or office room with young children.
They are often considered more environmentally friendly and yet have the same advantages as fragrant candles, imbuing fragrance in your home, as well as offering benefits from aromatherapy.
Usually, wax melts come in balls, bars or sweet little types such as hearts (cute gift alert). Before committing to it, they're a perfect way to try a perfume on the cheap, as you'll always find them in sets of tiny chunks containing various fragrances.
You'll need to buy a wax melt warmer to use your wax melts if you're a newbie to wax melts (you normally light a tea light under them, so they don't burn themselves). Several different burner types can be found on Amazon, in various shapes and materials, many for under £ 10. Smelling happily.

What is wax melts?
Wax melts are perfumed balls or wax bars that do not have a wick.
They can be melted to release home fragrance into wax melt warmers, and can be used to replace candles.
They are generally cheaper than candles and come in smaller sizes, so if you want to try out a scent before splashing out on a whole candle or space fragrance, they are a good option.
How long are you allowed to use wax melts for?
Usually, wax melts retain their scent for longer than candles, with one cube lasting about 5-10 hours.
The round melting of the Yankee Candle wax will last up to 8 hours.
Since wax melts do not burn, they slowly and potently release aromas, so you can find the wax melt lasts much longer.
What are the variations throughout the melting of candles and wax?
Wax melts, unlike candles, do not have wicks.
They even burn without a flame: you place them in warmers instead (light and unscented tea light underneath them), and they will gradually fill your room with fragrance.
For larger spaces such as living rooms, we can recommend them as wax melts have a more powerful scent (the fragrance oils don't burn as they do in a candle).
Wax melts are usually cheaper than candles as well, and in any way you want, you can mix and match scents.
Are there healthy wax melts for dogs?
While many dog owners would choose to invest in wax melts to mask the dog's scent in their homes, if consumed, additives such as paraffin and benzene may cause tummy upsets.
Look for all-natural ingredient wax melts and brands that manufacture pet-safe wax melts,
