I was walking at the Park
Like my old self kiddie,
Someone swore a promise
At the vendors' street with me
That we'll be holding hands
Under the arc of this city
I was walking alone,
Holding my crying heart
Someone had promise me
A candy for peace and love
I thought he'd keep 'em safe
But he broke 'em all instead
I was walking...
Back to the fateful spot,
Following the scent of rejoice
Where I pay for someone's trust,
To thaw my thirst of sweet,
To taste his store of lust
I was walking...
Before.
Now I stopped.
Infront of the candy store
To claim my hanging cup,
This time I will not pay
the amusing show of lies
Or risk all my savings
For a cotton candy's price.
