Bloom

He met her by the flower shop enjoying the aroma of a sunshine colored daffodil, gently caressing it's petals like a face of a baby. His eyes never looked away from the most wonderful sight he saw. Slowly, the heated paper cupped coffee of a well-known brand slipped away from his sweaty, drooping hands, dripping a few splash of it into the cold, hard ground creating a miniature stain and it shocked him that it also burnt him. Cinderella, as he would imagine her, noticed this little scene and quickly ran to get a cup of cold water from a pitcher resting from a nearby table. "Are you alright, sir?" Her voice where choirs of angels from the heavens. He stood there and caught himself again watching the most beautiful lady he had ever seen, right in front of him offering a cold cup of water to treat his burn. Her smell's a sprinkled grassy field surrounded by the most elegant flowers in the wild. Her skin were coated with such fresh cow milk that it might even glow in the most darkest parts of the world. But the most striking of all were her eyes. Her eyes are two globes of universes filled with innumerable sparkling stars.

Starstruck, he never uttered a word. His mind and heart were scrambled to make an overcooked omelet. The thoughts and feelings mashed up and formed a song that was too bad enough for the human ear to perceive. But he had this very agenda that he wanted to achieve: he wanted to know more about her.

And so, he move snail-ish to place his three-halves-full-a-little-cold coffee on top a chair near him and looked directly in the her eyes. His mouth shifted and formed a half-crescent moon shape, without showing his imperfect formation of his teeth, and finally managed to say something so significant that it started their story as lovers you never had expected to happen but happened still...

"I'm Joey."
