Borders Apart - The Poem

I now want to say

It all went that way -

To begin from Nisha's dreams,

Ahaan's lonely silent screams.

In the midnight darkness,

Two computers beamed.

Miles away, Borders apart

Clash different thoughts

But truth merges their hearts.

Later that night a prince knocks her sleep,

She wonders who's he? .. and peeps.

Time flies by

Talks never end.

Days grow longer,

and Nights shorter.

It was serendipity!

But time was witty.

It was for 9 days they missed each other

To the guy his heart ...did bother.

The guy took to words to express.

The situation was complicated

The girl was intimidated...

and maybe unprepared.

Love unknowingly blossomed,

In eyes that moistened

...at separation they sobbed in despair.

The girl was about to fly to her destiny.

She had left behind his love and family

She confessed her feelings and flew away

Passed time, to make her bolder by day

Then came her birthday, her gift too

Their paths crossed and crashed too

The Prince of her dreams was none other than he

But thinking it's a dream she let it be

Snow took over and she came back to see

He had left her a note probably

She sped past all to look for him

But time oh time! Had been cheeky

She pushed him from a car that was speedy

The snow was red blood stained

At this sight she was pained

Slowly he recovered

She smiled

A new path they'd trod

New possibilities to prod

It was a new infinity

They wanted it to last till eternity

But another chance was denied

Alas all hopes lost

For she had to pay the cost

She smiled to see his hand in

A hand he deserved to have by his side

At least she was proud

To see them outshine the crowd

To know that she had made friends

With a amazing person Borders Apart!
