I am in doña paz
Standing on the ledge
Silently humming
Sounds from my chest.
My heart's so calm
When I hear the beat
As peaceful as the waves
Passing under my feet.
And then you came
Like a blazing fire and burns the ship I'm in.
Disturb my peace
Disturb me from within.
I'm fighting the battle
Inside my head.
Decide of staying in
But I jumped instead.
I jumped and I forgot
That I couldn't swim
So let the waves claim me
Let the waves win.
I surrender my body
As your fire widespread.
On the surface
over my head.
It hurts to watch
the ship slowly sink
And tears are showing up
Everytime that I blink.
I drown myself
And wanted to end it
But I keep coming back
To the surface to breathe.
So I ended up fighting.
Atleast I learned.
To swim myself back up
But I'm already burned.
