cause and effects.

I asked for truth.
I was met with closure.
What disguised as peace
Turned mental torture.
My rhythmic life
In broken measure.
My gravity dispersed-
Distorted centre.

A single cause
But a branch of effects.
You asked to pause
I saw the defects.
A crooked line
In drawn arguments.
I gave you love,
You gave no respect.

You asked for space
I lent an ocean.
I saw you alive,
Happy more than
The day we were
Unkept by silence.
The day I knew
I fought the omens.

But I wait.
Because I am truth.
But could not sway
The ways of you.
I said goodbye
To daring views
Of seas and bridges
I often brew.

Until the day
You knock my door
Again to say
We are no more.
Until that day
My heart still tore
Through signs and sorrows
Minds have in store.
