CBD side effects and dosage

It is very easy to get the best CBD for anxiety in drug stores and other authorized outlets. But if you are interested in trying it out, you need to first talk to your doctor. They might just help you find out what could be the ideal dosage which might be right for you.

But for the nonprofit NORML – the national organization for the reform of marijuana laws, it does advice that there are few available products commercially which contain the enough CBD to give the correct therapeutic effects which are seen in the clinical trials.

In a study carried out in 2018, there were male subjects who received CBD before going through a simulated test for public speaking. The research was able to find out that, an oral dose of about 300mg that was administered approximately 90 minutes before the test was administered, did have an impact on reduced anxiety in the speakers.

Members of the group of placebo and the subjects of the study who received about 150 mg had little benefits. The same was seen to be true with those who received the 600mg. The study was able to only look at about 57 subjects and thus, a small sample. More research is needed including one that should take into consideration female subjects to determine the right dosage for people who are suffering from anxiety.

The side effects of CBD

It is considered safe to use CBD. But there are some people who tend to take CBD who might experience certain side effects including:

Grapefruit and CBD do interact with enzymes which are important for the metabolism of drugs.
