"Why is the road paved with checkpoints?" he said while brows meeting at the center of his forehead.

His impatience is more than usual because he has to go to an important meeting at exactly 7 PM and being stuck with traffic or like this, checkpoints at 6:54 surely will trigger his anger.

Two minutes later, a police officer approached him and waved a flashlight in the passenger seat.

"Hey!" he asked impatiently. "What's with the checkpoints, huh?"

But the police officer just ignored him and even waved the flashlight right in his eyes, checking.

He then heard the police officer say to another police officer approach, "he's probably clean but let's see in the body temperature booth if he could pass. Nevertheless, he doesn't have apparent symptoms."

What? What the hell is happening?- he murmured.

Then he heard a sudden incessant ringing of an alarm.

He woke up. It was a dream.
