Every once in a while, the word "death" comes to your mind. Some of you may not be too worried about that because they're thinking that,
"Hey, I'm still young, duh."
Or they're too confident that they would live long enough to taste the beauty of life. Others think that it's impossible to die at a young age since they are not ill...yet.
But little did they know that everything is possible. Even if they say that they will live their life to the fullest accompanied with a healthy lifestyle, but they still don't know what will happen in the future. We're just humans doing what we wanna do. And we can't do anything about dying. Because that's what life is.
Do you fear death?
Most of you would say yes because none of you are ready to depart so soon leaving behind all those things you still wanna do in your bucket list. You don't want to leave your precious things, especially your friends and family. It's too painful to see them crying over your dead body. What's worst of all is that you didn't even got the chance to say goodbye. See, it's not easy to die all of a sudden. Dying cannot be prevented, you don't have control over it.
Do you fear death?
Yes. It's scary and unpredictable. You don't know how, when, and where are you going to die. Or who..if you're murdered by someone who's cold-blooded. You fear everything about death. It's scary and will drive you to nuts.
Yes, you tremble with fear for your lives. But what about the people you treasure the most? The person who's always by your side? Your mother? Your father? Your sister? Your brother? Or your friends?
Every night, do you think about someone dying in their sleep? And when you wake up in the morning, you cannot see them waking up anymore. Then you regret everything after what happened because you haven't said those words that you've been keeping all this time. To say "Thank You", to say "I'm sorry", to say "I miss you", and to say "I love you".
And after all this time, those words will be left unspoken, unheard by the person you love so wholeheartedly.
It's sad but it's the reality. You don't know what was coming. One moment they'll be sweet to you and they'll be saying "I love you. Take care, okay." without knowing that it was their last words to you.
It's not easy to die and leave someone behind. But it's also not easy to lose the person you love when you're still living and having to bear all the pain that hurts you the most. It's difficult to face the truth because sometimes it's just too unbelievably true.
Death is part of our lives. Yes it's scary but it's also one of the things that makes life beautiful. Because it lets a person reflect about life, their purpose in the world, and who they truly are. It mostly changes a person to good or bad. The world may seem to change but the truth is...it's them who change their viewpoint about life.
Dying is unpredictable but we need to accept it no matter how much it hurts. It's just balance and it's natural. People come and go according to God's plan. And only He knows about everything..including our death day. We cannot see the future ahead. We don't wait but we know it's coming.
