Two years ago, my son was diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He has difficulty in following instructions because maybe of the many thoughts rumbling in his mind all in the same time. He tends to have overflowing energy that he could not even stay at rest for even 5 minutes doing nothing. He needs to do something and should keep himself busy or else, you’ll find him jumping and jumping anywhere in the house. It is a difficult situation but all I can do is accept his condition. Apart from being hyper, I found him very talented and artistic. He talks a lot and asks questions from anything that might come to his mind. Yes, my son has special needs that I need to attend to. And that made me decided to quit my job so I can personally attend his need.
It was hard for me to stay at home because I used to work for 8 hours every day for 13 years. Despite the thinking that being a plain housewife and a mother is the noblest job in the world, I still feel futile because I don’t earn money from my salary. My husband supports me financially and despite having more than I need financially, I still want to earn on my own. And so I decided on working from home and got to know about Digital Marketing. This is my story on earning from home while mommy-ing through Digital Marketing!
First, I started from a very popular platform Up work and honed my skills there as a content writer. From there, I built good working relationships from clients by providing them with quality contents. Luckily, they were satisfied with my output and invited me to become full-time writers to their company. Great!
