5. Use Vinegar To Kill Odors

So, if your carpets have some odors, you can kill the odor by using vinegar. Take a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar and blend it properly. Now spray this solution all over your carpets and make it air dry. You need to make sure that you are using a little amount of vinegar and water solution as you’re your purpose is to glaze over it and not absorb into the carpet. After air-drying for almost an hour, vacuum it thoroughly so that all odor is removed.
