DRAGAURS PART 2

14 years passed... Since the last terrifying attack by Bloodgon...

The presence of Delora in the village made everyone completely care free.

But now, the time had come, when Delora would have to go to the caves. Being everyone's darling, the Dragaurs didn't want to send Delora to the caves. She was not just beautiful but intelligent and courageous. She used to teach the older Dragaurs to fly and fight. And everyone felt nothing could go wrong ever again.

Seeing the crowd's interests to keep Delora in the mainland, the elders got together inside one of the caves to decide what had to be done. After a lot of thought, Dony and the others came out. Dony could see the full crowd from up where she was and also their anxious expressions.

"What happened? Why are you all looking so sad?"

Delora emerged from behind and stood right beside Dony. Suddenly their faces illumine, and the crowd cheered for her.

"Welcome your new Princess my children, Delora is here! “

The crowd reverberated and Dony cried with happiness. Delora flew high above the crowd thanking them for their love and support and swayed her wings out wide.

Delora then landed in front of the cave and began to speak.

"Dear Dragaurs, thank you so much for all your love and care. Today, you have crowned me with a huge responsibility, and I promise you all to do all that I can and I wish all of you would help me in this journey, our island would be known around the world for who we are... But first, I want to let someone free..."

The crowd wondered what she was talking about and then she continued...

"I Delora, as the Princess of Draurland, would like to have all the she-Dragaurs set free... "

The crowd exploded with joy.

“Delora! Delora! Delora! "

Once again they would live together as families, and this thought filled their hearts with pride trust and respect for Delora.

Everybody lived in perfect harmony for years until one day the ground trembled, as a sound was heard from the skies...

"Ha Ha Ha... Here I am the defeat you!!!"

Dony whispered with fear in her eyes...

"Bloodgon!"

Delora shook Dony back to her senses and asked,

“Who is this? Who is Bloodgon? What are you talking about??? “

Dony narrated the story to Delora while the voice was still echoing ferociously.

"Long before you were born, a major battle happened between our ancestors and Bloodgon's army of Red Dragons. As we had a huge army at that time, they were defeated and made to fly off. Their army was largely made of She-dragons and all of them were killed. Only the males could go back. Since then, they have come back in the new moon nights every single time, and killed our She-Dragaurs who are grown enough to know pain one by one. And that is why we had the she-Dragaurs hidden in the darkness of the caves protected by the elders. "

Suddenly, a huge Red Dragon flew just above them spitting fire and behind him were an army of Red Dragons!!!

Then Delora consoled Dony

"No, this will not happen. We will end this ordeal once and for all. Believe me!"

But Dony warns Delora that now Bloodgon is 100 times stronger than before and we will not be able to defend ourselves. She says that the only way would be to surrender, and accept defeat and live at their mercy. But Delora is not ready to budge. She calls everyone and gives an inspiring speech.

"All Dragaurs united, is the strength of Draurland! Let us fight them with all our strength! Let us show them our power! Let us pledge to protect our motherland from any danger."

Suddenly Bloodgon appears behind her like a helicopter pulling up. Delora and the entire crowd are shocked to see that they are surrounded by thousands of Red Dragons. Bloodgon's fiery voice resounded...

"What do you know about me, you little girl??? You are just like an ant for me! I will give you a chance to live, but on one condition...bring me the Crystal, lying hidden somewhere in your caves... and then you can live. I shall give you three days...and on the third day, I want to see the Crystal...in my hand...or else..."

"Okay, deal. I will find you the Crystal, but... you must promise never to return to our lands ever again! Or else..."

Delora confidently agreed and threatened Bloodgon who is almost 50 times bigger than her.

All the Dragaurs standing there were shocked to hear this...for the Crystal Bloodgon asked for was their source of life...and without it being on their island they would all die!
