Essay Writing Event by 'BOTS'

Hey reader,

This is not a poem or story I created, but something that is equally important for me. And I want you to be a part of it, if you'd like. PLEASE READ TILL THE END.

I'll skip the pleasantries for now, and get straight to the point.

So... I and three of my friends have started an initiative called 'BOTS: Buddies Of The Strays'. BOTS is an initiative to increase people's sensitivity towards stray animals and make them be more kind and compassionate. Our mission is to do something good for the strays who have to suffer all year long just because they're owner-less.

We are organizing an essay writing event for anyone and everyone who is interested and wants to do something for a good cause, likes to make things, or simply likes to unwind by writing a bit. As for submission of entries, they can be made into a PDF and sent to this email id: igobycs@gmail.com, or, if you use Launchora, be posted as a story in the 'Love' Collection with @bots_buddiesofthestrays in the 'What's This Story About?' Description box.

For quite a long we have been seeing people in our localities abusing strays. They would throw stones at a stray that was literally minding it's business. Or they would tie it to a pole or hit it with sticks. Not only that, they would be so heartless as to not give any dog or cow that would come near their homes some water and a roti or two in the blazing heat of Udaipur. Watching this is extremely disheartening and concerning. Have humans forgotten humanity?, we would think.
