"That is why you don't date straight men," Manoko said as he poured the shot into his mouth.
"We weren't dating!" I said back, but it was the truth.
"That is why you don't fall in love with straight men," he said, rephrasing his statement, as he looked at me. "Hashiki, you are the sole example of that."
I deeply sighed and turned away from him. He is right. I've fallen for so many straight men but every time it's always a fail.
"What should I do?" I asked him.
"Don't asked me, I don't know anything about gay relationship," Manoko said then pour in another shot.
That is also right, Manoko is straight.
"About love, not men," I said.
"Well," Manoko said as a hiccup attack started, "Follow your heart."
As he hiccup more and more, I started laughing. He hold in his breath for 5 second then said, "So, yeah. Follow your heart."
I sighed, "How?"
He shrugged then pour in another shot.
"Okay, I'm suppose to be the one drinking my life out, so why are you drinking?" I asked, suddenly annoy that he doesn't seem to care much.
He looked at me for awhile then said, "Okay." He poured then moved two shots in front of me.
I picked up one and said, "You didn't answer my question." Then pour it into my mouth.
"Well," he said as he nodded a shot to me, "For starter, don't you think I am tire of hearing your sicken love life story?" Then pours it into his mouth.
I looked at him, a little mad. Because he is suppose to be here to comfort me, yet he's saying this. I've always been telling him everything, he never complains... until now.
"You say that now?" I said putting the cup down, a little too hard, because I think I heard it crack.
"Whoa, be careful Hashiki, you don't wanna buy that," he said with a light laugh. I didn't laugh. He looked at me for awhile then said, "Hashiki, why do you always fall for someone that's out of your reach?"
I didn't answer him because I didn't know the answer myself.
"Why do you always fall for straight men?"
I still didn't answer him.
He sighed and put his head down, "Hashiki, you don't always fall for straight men, do you?"
I am now confused. One second ago he was talking about how I am always falling for straight men, which is true, now he's saying that I don't?
"What do you mean?" I finally said something.
He looked at me with a smirk that I can’t read and said, "Because you fall for every straight men but me."
