Because I was lost, and everything blurred.
I was down on the high way, out of turf.
Darkness surrounds and blindness bound,
throughout the night, walking with less sight.
There was nothing, nothing to see
even the stars needed the light.
And there came, through the far away
A flickering with the loneliest burn
It was the tinniest tinge of bright
It was the softest, softest of light.
It was you, standing in a road,
a lifeless of roads, giving nothing but.
The stars seen you, and they stood
to shine with you as your fire grows weak.
I know that this was the forbidden ways
of the highest might.
You brought out the light to the dark
and flickered your bright
as you called out to the stars...
