Fuel Efficient SUVs

A fuel efficient SUV can be a great way to go. They are generally more economical and offer a good range of features. You can also get some added benefits like a hybrid engine. Some of the popular options include the Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, and Lexus UX.

Honda CR-V hybrid

The Honda CR-V hybrid is a fuel efficient SUV that offers an impressive amount of cargo space. With a maximum of 76.5 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded, the Honda CR-V Hybrid is a great option for families.

This fuel efficient SUV offers a plethora of safety features, including a standard blind-spot monitoring system. It also has an advanced safety feature called Traffic Jam Assist, which makes small steering corrections to keep the CR-V on the right path when driving in traffic.

When equipped with all-wheel drive, the CR-V Hybrid gets an EPA-estimated 37 mpg city and 40 highway. These figures aren't much higher than the turbocharged version of the CR-V, but they're better than the gas-only model.

The CR-V Hybrid has a spacious interior, and it can seat five passengers. There's also a manual liftgate, which is a nice feature for families.

Toyota RAV4

If you're looking for a fuel-efficient SUV that's also fun to drive, you'll want to consider the Toyota RAV4. The vehicle has a long list of features to make it fun to drive, as well as impressive fuel efficiency.

For starters, the Toyota RAV4 has a spacious interior. It offers the largest cargo space of any compact SUV, with 37.6 cubic feet behind the rear seats and 69.8 cubic feet with folded seats. There's also a handy hands-free power liftgate, which allows you to easily carry things in and out of the back.

Its engine uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that puts out 184 lb-ft of torque. This engine pairs with an 8-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. Both have a Direct Shift system that changes gears smoothly.

Volvo XC60 Recharge T8

Volvo XC60 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid SUV that boasts a powerful powertrain, a good battery range and an elegant, sporty interior. It has been redesigned for the new model year, with a more sculpted grille and a restyled front fascia. In addition, the new Recharge has been upgraded with a variety of driver-assist systems, including blind-spot and rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, Pilot Assist and a surround-view camera.

The Volvo XC60 Recharge T8 Extended Range is available in two trims, namely Polestar Engineered and R-Design. Both are based on the Scalable Product Architecture (SPA) platform. SPA is an advanced modular product platform that underpins all Volvo 90 Series cars.

The powertrain of the Volvo XC60 Recharge T8 is a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine matched with an electric motor that is located on the rear axle. With this setup, the T8 is able to offer a remarkably quick 0-to-60-mph sprint of 4.5 seconds.

Lexus UX

If you're looking for a fuel efficient SUV, you may want to take a look at the Lexus UX. It has a nice interior and a lot of techie features. You can also get a hybrid model that is more powerful than the standard gas-powered UX.

The interior is quite comfortable, with a high window line and a smooth, responsive steering wheel. There are 8-way power adjustable seats for the front passengers and a motion-activated tailgate. However, taller adults may find the UX a bit cramped.

The Lexus UX comes with two different types of hybrid powertrains: one with a regular all-wheel-drive system and one with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Both models can travel up to 36 miles in electric-only mode.

The Lexus UX Hybrid has a powertrain that puts out 181 horsepower. When paired with an automatic transmission, it can travel at least 40 mpg. On the highway, it can get up to 37 mpg.

Kia Sorento

The Kia Sorento is a mid-sized SUV that offers plenty of interior space. While it may not be as roomy as a Toyota RAV4, the cabin offers a comfortable seating experience. It features excellent materials and ample door storage.

The Kia Sorento comes with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that can produce 191 horsepower. A 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is available for a little more power. Both of these engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition to the standard front-wheel drivetrain, the Kia Sorento can be equipped with an all-wheel drive system for extra traction.

A plug-in hybrid version of the Sorento is also available. This model combines the benefits of a conventional hybrid with the fuel efficiency of a gas-powered vehicle. With the electric motor, the Sorento is capable of driving over 30 miles on battery power alone.
