Girl with a Golden Hue

She walks with her head held high and presents herself with an aura of golds and violets. But people seem to confused her confidence with arrogance. They see her as a beauty queen wannabe when she walks. Her heels, a sign of superiority and standards. They see her as dark color trying to achieve a golden hue. They mock the way she tries and point their shameless fingers on her flaws.

But what the closed minded society didn't know is that, her confidence came a long way. The once bullied, low esteemed, four eyed geek, reconstructed the broken pieces of her dignity. She got tried of being treated as that person who everyone takes advantage of. 

She was too kind, too naive of other people's intentions that she eventually got beaten up by the rotten reality that the world isn't all yangs, it has yins. And so, she stood up and changed herself for the better, she can't forever be that person everyone takes advantage of. But then again, people are people. They criticize what they don't understand and they are way too shallow to see what's beneath the iceberg. 

And so until then, she is Ms. Understood, a victim of society's standard of judgement.
