Giving and Receiving Help

Helping people is a good thing, but to recognize the people who really need it, I suppose is necessary.

Helping people when they need it is important. There is no point in offering help after the person does not need it any more.

Helping in every possible way you can, gives you happiness and a sort of fulfillment within, for you did the best you can!

I say it's important to recognize who really needs help because I feel a whole lot of people just take 'good caring souls' for granted. They want things the easy way and are just ignorant or don't care to put in the effort to achieve something.

I feel by helping such people not only do we bring ourselves down but we spoil them too. In the long run they would feel terrible for not having had anyone to tell them 'You have to be independent. '

While you help, I feel it is also necessary to see to it that the person receiving it does not feel bound to return the favour or feel too awkward to receive the benefit which they know they cannot return, its morally depressing unless you have a counselor.

Most importantly, never expect the people you helped to help you when you need it.
