Have You Understood the Meaning of Your Life?

As we grow up and turn into young individuals, a lot of us seem to be confused about what the meaning of our life truly is. With so many complications, duties, responsibilities and whatnot, it is only understandable that everyone has his or her own version of the question: what is the true meaning of life? Of course, several people are also more inclined to believe that their life might as well be spent doing nothing at all since everyone will eventually die, and death is inevitable.

So, What Is the Meaning of Life?

It goes without saying that the experiences one has in the span of his life have a huge role to play in what their perception of life truly is. However, when artists and authors are asked the same question, they do have their own perception, but it is often unique and truthful in several different ways.

One such author and artist, Gheorghe Virtosu, from Romania, was asked the same question on several occasions and his response to it was truly remarkable, not to mention motivational, too. The Romanian writer and artist had a rocky childhood due to the fact that he left his home at the supple age of 15, and continued his education at a town college, where he led an active life with interest in sports.

According to Virtosu, the question as to what the meaning of life is, is one that is thought-provoking and challenges one to look into himself to find the adequate answers to it. When the question arises in public or social gatherings, people are quick to throw off the question with predictable answers which might not even be fitting – but is something that we are bred to believe greatly.

However, other artists and writers, among the likes of Pablo Picasso and Paulo Coelho, who seemed to appear as though they had life figured out, were actually having a difficult time themselves. The real deal of this life is to live to the fullest and to enjoy the time that we are given on earth. However, life is not simple or easy in any way and to be a part of the rat race, people should be willing to put in the effort.

Why Love Is Not the Meaning of Life

While several people believe that the meaning of life is to find love but this is only when you have experiences that can cause your brain to believe in such stuff. For many people, love doesn’t have all the answers while for several other people, that seems to be the meaning of life.

Love itself is an expression and an emotion and having too much of it will not help you find the true meaning of life, but it might make you a humbler and much better human being. However, if you really wish to find out what the meaning of life is, you must be willing and able to grab a pen and a paper in order to do a significant amount of research on the subject yourself.
