But what he didn't know is that she loved him more than she let even herself believe. She would give anything for him. Never before was she so content with doing anything for anyone, but oh when he asked her to do anything, her heart quivered and she simply couldn't say no. She could never betray him, even in such a minute and unimportant way.
And what she didn't know is that he just wanted to wrap his arms around her and slay her demons. He would give anything just to see her smile. He would move heaven and Earth if it would take her out of her personal hell that she always seemed to revel in. Even though she would never tell him, it was apparent on her face. It broke his heart to see her be so hard on herself and he just wanted to take that away.
