Henry changed his life

Henry is an absolutely amazing human being..he is funny, kind, and sweet but he has one problem that is definitely getting in his way of living an independent life-his weight. Henry is very overweight for his age and height which makes him dependent on his mother to move around the house, bathe, and even get up from the bed sometimes. Once, he fell in the bathroom when he was alone..he couldn’t get up for two hours straight which made him realize that it was time for him to change his life around. He decided to follow the steps.

1) Consult a nutritionist: A nutritionist is a person who has knowledge about the types of nutrients present in different types of food. They help you to build a sufficient diet in order to procure enough amount of nutrition you need to function daily. Nutritionists also help you to create appropriate meals according to your body type, age, and weight. Henry visited a nutritionist and asked him to regulate his diet according to the nutrient requirements his body had.

2) Consult a doctor: A doctor will be able to surely advise you about the foods, oil, vegetables, fruits, etc you need to use at home to promote healthy eating. A doctor has the knowledge of the components of a product and would surely be able to suggest to you about the effects of the products on the body. Henry visited a doctor as well to help him get rid of his indigestion and gastrointestinal issues.

3) Eliminate junk food: Try to eat as many home-cooked meals as possible instead of junk food..the food that is prepared in restaurants or food chains is mostly prepared in fats and oils that not only enable weight gain but also put your heart at risk. These types of food make the digestive system work a lot harder, thus stripping you off of the energy you require to function. Henry tried to eliminate all junk food like pizza, burgers, etc from his diet.

4) Do not consume processed foods: Processed foods contain the least amount of natural products and are altered during their preparation in one way or the other. These foods are frozen, canned, or packed to sell to the general public..they have ingredients such as salt, sugar, and fat that are sometimes added to make their flavor more appealing and to extend their shelf life..so, eating the harmful type of processed foods like tomato ketchup, instant noodles, frozen meat, etc might make your health plummet down to dangerous health hazards. As a part of his cleanse, Henry threw out all the chips, ready-to-eat snacks, instant ramen, etc from his kitchen pantry.

5) Regulate sugar: Although having a normal amount of sugar is absolutely necessary..but over-consuming sugary drinks and food may lead to various issues to your body. Extra sugar causes an increase in blood insulin levels, and high insulin levels cause your body to store fat rather than burn it. Refined carbohydrates cause blood sugar to drop below the recommended range, leading to a bigger appetite and more cravings. Items like sodas, snack bars, pre-sweetened yogurts, etc should be avoided as these contain unwanted sugar content. Henry emptied out all sugar-related drinks like red bull, coca-cola, sprite, etc into the sink and vowed to never drink them again.

6) Exercise: Exercising according to the body’s strength and building it bit by bit not only increases energy and builds stamina, it also enables us to lose weight..following professionals or exercising bit by bit will facilitate weight loss for sure. Henry consulted experts on Pinterest..he followed images posted by these experts on their feed..in fact, he downloaded these pictures for reference by using Pinterest image downloader.

7) Meditate and relax: Just because you get too worked up sometimes, you tend to turn to binge eating and being stressed..which is definitely not good for your health..so, make sure to take out time for yourself to meditate for a while and to relax. You will definitely feel stress-free and fresh if you take some time out for yourself. Stress eating is one of the worst demons Henry had to face throughout his life..so, Henry promised himself to relax and meditate when he is stressed rather than binge eat his feelings away.

Eating smart, eating healthy, exercising, and taking care of yourself is the only way out to live a hassle-free and fit life..so, build yourself a routine in order to keep yourself young, thriving, and fresh.
